Jimin released her title track "Call You Bae" for her solo debut for her project #OOTD (Outfit of the Day), featuring EXO's Xiumin. Let's chat, shall we.
SONG:
I'm going to be honest, it took me a while to appreciate the song. I heard the song a week ago and was thinking what most people thought: Xiumin ft. Jimin. I know, cruel. But, as someone who knows music pretty well, it was obviously Jimin ft. Xiumin (if the title wasn't already a giveaway). Jimin had the main verses, they both did the pre-chorus, and Xiumin sung the chorus, making the song Jimin's.
As for the song lyrically, it's about a girl who wants her oppa to see her as a woman rather than a dongsaeng, and the oppa beginning to see her as a woman. The lyrics were great, considering it told a straight-forward story.
P.S. I know people find Jimin's voice annoying but, I honestly don't care. Her voice has personality. Imagine if it was monotone. Then you can say it's annoying.

MV:
This is the first music video where the plot aligns exactly with the song and I absolutely love it. Besides being a casual fan of AOA, I'm a huge EXO fangirl and let me say this: I SHIP IT. The chemistry between them was great and I can't get over Jimin's cuteness. And the emoji people. EMOJI PEOPLE. WHY hasn't anyone thought about that yet?!?!
The music video was a korean drama cut down to 4 minutes and 17 seconds.
