Cosmic Girls (WSJN) debuted with title tracks "MoMoMo" and "Catch Me" for their debut album WOULD YOU LIKE?. Let's chat, shall we.
SONG:
The song is good, but it seems as though it's a typical debut song with a cute concept. But, a safe song doesn't mean it's bad.

After their debut, SNS made it seem as though everything was really cringe-worthy, aegyo wise. However, I thought their acting pretty tame, even for rookies. Their acting seemed pretty natural to me, and they were able to exude more charisma and dancing abilities in this music video then in "Catch Me". Speaking of dancing, their synchronization was GFRIEND on steroids (considering they have twice the amount of members). I enjoy the fact that they incorporated their group name into their music video, with the cosmic-like settings and outfits.

SONG:
Since this is a dance song, I don't expect much from it lyrically. As long as there's electronic beats and bass drops, the song's pretty solid. I did find the singing verses lame, but EXY's raps canceled them out. The chorus is also catchy as hell though.

MV:
Apparently, this was their "sexy" concept. It also had a SNSD "You Think" feel, with the background and clothes. I didn't really find this a sexy one, but more of a "cool" one if you catch my drift. The winks and the lip-smearing were pretty cringe-worthy. The camera work made the viewing of the choreography pretty choppy, but I what I got from it was good. The back flip at the end had no effect on me, considering there was no build up to it. It just came out of no where.
The two members that caught my attention was EXY (the rapper/leader) and Mei Qi (the smiling one with the blonde ponytail). For the concept, they were the ones that were able to execute it pretty well, with their charisma, voices, and their dancing.
