f(x) FINALLY had their comeback with title track "4 Walls" for their album with the same name. Let's chat, shall we.
SONG:
"Love is 4 Waahahahalls."
This song, especially the chorus, is catchy as hell. At first I thought it was more Engrish with the whole "love is 4 walls" thing. I was just confused as hell, like what is that supposed to mean? Then I read the translation for it and it makes a little bit more sense to me. But it's still weird when listening to it and here "love is 4 walls" since it's out of context due to the song being mostly Korean. Amber's rap has been the best one I've heard from her since "Rum Pum Pum Pum", excluding her solo debut (since "Shake That Brass" was FIRE). And Victoria's vocals: she's improved so much! I'm happy! I actually mistaken her voice for Luna in the beginning.

MV:
It seems like SM is currently interested in aesthetically pleasing throwbacks. First with EXO's "Love Me Right" and SHINee's "View", and now f(x)'s "4 Walls". Even though I was kind of lost for most of the video, my favorite part had to be towards the end with the bathtub-and-underwater scene. That was MY aesthetic right there. Krystal looked gorgeous even under water(but I really need to give props to her since I can't even open my eyes underwater, let alone graceful)! And Victoria and Luna submerging then coming out of the water? #AESTHETIC. I needed that in my life. Since this song isn't your typical k-pop song, I wasn't really disappointed about the lack of choreography shown. That's what live performances are for! And btw, it's AMAZING.
