TIFFANY 티파니 "I JUST WANNA DANCE" REVIEW [MV]

Tiffany released her title track "I Wanna Dance" for her solo debut. Let's chat, shall we.

SONG:

I've taken an interest in Korea's take on synth pop ever since watching BoA's "Kiss My Lips" video. This song didn't disappoint me the slightest. I bet many of us were expecting a more upbeat song from Tiffany due to her personality, but boy were we blind-sided XD. I like seeing this side of Tiffany's musical ability, since the song doesn't involve her saying cringe-worthy lyrics in English and doesn't need her high notes to make the song good.

MV:

I find Tiffany is a natural performer. Everything she does is very charismatic. She could've just sat there and ate a sandwich the whole time and she still would have gotten a decent rating from me XD. I know she's a good dancer, but I didn't think she actually had "swag" in her dance moves. Not only that, they were quite synchronized with the other dancers, which I didn't find shocking, but impressive.

No shock here, but SM is back at it again with the aesthetics. Unlike their other tries at aesthetics, this one was quite simple and wasn't confusing. It had an 80s skater theme starting with the synth pop song, then the classic diner, the knee pads and outfits, graffiti-saturated areas, the skate park, and the retro lighting. I highly approve of the video.
