AOA 에이오에이 "HEART ATTACK" 심쿵해 REVIEW [MV]

AOA had their 2015 summer comeback with the title track "Heart Attack" for their third mini album. Let's chat, shall we.

SONG:

The song itself is really good, especially in the chorus where Choa goes "wanjeon banhae banhae beoryeosseoyo", which translates into "I've completely fallen for you" (shoutout to mv english subs). The vocals were great and so was Jimin's rap. Hyejeong's little rap that lasted like half-a-second was a fail but like a said, it only lasted half-a-second so it's bearable. What makes this song even better is that the song's lyrics are good and actually make sense.

MV:

For the music video itself, it honestly looked like a jock's wet dream. Hot asian girls in "sports uniforms" playing sports against a guy team and even though they were losing, they looked hot while doing it. May I ask why they were playing a guy's team in the first place? I understand co-ed teams playing sports against each other, but same-sex teams playing sports against each other, let alone lacrosse, it doesn't make sense. Their uniforms didn't help either since it didn't have ANY productive gear. They were even wearing tennis outfits during some parts of the MV. As for the focus on the members, it's not equal of course. It doesn't really bother me since the MV has a plot and the main characters are supposed to be Choa and the guy that gives her a "heart attack". The choreography wasn't really unique or eye-catching and it honestly reminded of some advanced, aerobic dance team (lol I mean this in the nicest way possible). I still liked it and it looked fairly easy to learn so I guess that's a pro.
